- Trek Salkantay is a 51 km long walk with a 6-7 hour walk per day. It is a path aimed at travelers who like challenges and witness the various microclimates, discover the mysteries of the Andean world and landscapes that the trail has to offer in a single trip to Machu Picchu.
- We invite you to discover and enjoy in these 5 days the variety of climates, going from the very cold and icy weather through the Salkantay mountain (4,600 meters above sea level) to a semitropical climate and being able to see on the last day one of the wonders of the new Machu world Picchu
- Cusco: Pick up from hotel.
- As long as it is in the city center and prior coordination with the operator.

It begins with the pick up of the hotel in Cusco (5:00 am) and transfer it in tourist mobility to the village of Mollepata where we will have a stop to have breakfast and introduce all our team who will accompany us throughout the trek. Then we will move to Marqoq'asa where the walk will begin to the viewpoint where we can see 2 valleys (De Mollepata, Marqoq'asa).
Then we will continue the walk to Soraypampa where we will have a well-deserved lunch and then ascend for 1 hour-30 minutes until we reach the Humantay lagoon (4,220 meters above sea level). After appreciating this beautiful place we will descend to Soraypampa.

On the second day you will have more walking path than on foot. While you work a little harder to reach the summit, the views at the top are even more amazing than we can see. Then it is a path of pure descent with full stones, descending to an area of tropical forest more within reach at the end of the Salkantay mountain.
A glass of hot Coca tea is served in their stores to relieve the cold morning. We prepare all our equipment to begin this beautiful day of hiking towards the Salkantay Pass and the experience in the cloud forest and the day of the subtropical jungle.

It is a beautiful mountain landscape in the morning, a green nature trail and reach to La Playa; with some affluent river of the main river of the Sacred Valley of the Incas: The Urubamba.
Most of the time we will be near the white river of Salkantay, finding in our walk a lot of wild strawberries (of course, if it were the season). Wild flowers, orchids, some birds, fruit passions, avocados, coffee plantations, bananas, pineapples, etc. abound. The walk will last approximately 5 hours; The camp is in the settlement of La Playa.

We leave La Playa very early in the morning to avoid the wet blow of the sun, to do a little trekking towards our last step of the whole trip. We follow the original Inca trail from Lucmabamba to the Llactapata Pass, crossing the Santa Teresa Valley with a wider variety of landscapes (green nature and a quiet Inca trail).
Upon reaching the ruins of Patallacta, we have the first vision of Machu Picchu and all the mountains of the Andes in the area that are incredible views. We also explore the Incan Llactapata site. Then we descend through lush bamboo and coffee forests (Aobamba Valley) along a path back to Hydro (2 hours of extreme descent to the riverbank).
From the Aobamba river, the road to Hydro is easy to walk to the village of Aguas Calientes "the last two and a half hours we follow the train track" .

- Breakfast and early transfer to go by bus to Machu Picchu, the trip takes about 30 minutes. During the trip we will have an incredible view of the landscapes of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba and the Amazon rainforest that gives you a little hint of how much Peru has to offer.
- Upon arrival in Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas”, you will have a pleasant guided tour to visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock “Intiwatana”, the Royal District, the Temple of the Three Windows and Several cemeteries
- Then, at the right time, you will go down to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train that will take you back to the village of Ollantaytambo and then we will take the mobility to Cusco.
