Full Day: Mountain of Colors + Tickets
- Let yourself be dazzled by the Vinicunca Mountain, also known as the "Colorful Mountain".
- In this adventure of a full day through the Peruvian Andes.
- Go through breathtaking landscapes to a natural rainbow painted through the mountain ranges, a simply unique sight !.
Departure place
- Cusco: Pick up from hotel.
- Always in the city center and prior coordination with the operator.
- For places outside these limits, you must coordinate with the Operator the feasibility of your pick-up or meeting point or additional cost.
Itinerary
Day 1
Colorful Mountain Hike
- Our day begins with the pick up of your hotel in Cusco around 4:00 am.
- We will start our trip by van to the beginning of the trail, approximately 3 hours from Cusco to reach the Hanchipacha community, where we will stop for breakfast.
- After that, we will take 15 more minutes to the community of Quesiuno (4,326 meters above sea level / 14,189 feet).
- We will begin our walk for approximately 3 hours approx. On the way, we can enjoy incredible landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate mountain, many red mountains and traditional local houses.
- The mountains are one of the spectacular places of the Vilcanota mountain range, waiting for a natural coloration, this coloration is due to the presence of sedimentary stones in the erosion. What is impressive is how the stones have been formed to form a set of seven colors.
- When we finally reach the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 masl / 16,466 ft), you will have time to explore the area and take pictures.
- We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on your speed of trekking and weather conditions).
- Afterwards, we will begin our walk back to the beginning of the trail that takes approximately 2 hours to the Community of Quesiuno where we will take our transportation to the community of Hanchipacha for lunch.
- Then you will be transferred to Cusco to Plaza Regocijos, 2 blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
- End of service

- CHILDREN: Service implies a light walk, therefore it is recommended for children from 8 years old.

- Any material loss or accident is under the responsibility of the client.
- Service is subject to variation without prior notice, due to weather issues (rain, mudslides, overflows, etc), strikes and / or demonstrations and any other event that does not allow the normal development of the itinerary.
- Any cancellation of the service for the indicated reasons, does not apply return.
- In this case, the Operator could carry out a contingency plan with an alternative tour.
- The Itinerary may vary at the discretion of the operator, always to ensure the safety of the traveler and the best development of the service in its entirety.
- If you decide to withdraw before the end of the service, no refund applies either.
- If you bring or buy snacks during the tours, preferably they are light (dried fruits, cookies and water).
- If you do not attend the service day, it will be considered "Done" without any Claims, Delays or Returns.
- The seats in the transfer mobility are not reserved, they are taken according to the order of arrival / pick-up.
