Itinerary
Day 1
CACHORA - CHIQUISCA
- Private tourist transport departure: ABANCAY - CACHORA.
We leave the city of Abancay at 4:00 pm in the afternoon the day before, in the direction of the town of Cachora district that belongs to the city of Abancay located, (2850msnm), where we spend the night in our tents or optional hotel , as well as the presentation and the meeting with our muleteers in the aforementioned place.
Breakfast - 8 am Approximate walk of 03 hours to the place called Capuliyoc, where we can appreciate the famous Apurimac river canyon and the archaeological complex of Choquequirao in the distance.

- Continues with the descent walk approximately 03 hours to our camp in Chiquisca, place located at 1,950 masl.
Day 2
CHIQUISCA - CHOQUEQUIRAO
- 5:00 am Breakfast
- We begin our walk, descending to the Rosarinas Bridge where we will cross the Apurímac River by Oroya to start the ascent to the first rest stop, Santa Rosa.
Here we can enjoy chicha de caña (cambray) and after continuing to climb to the small town of Maranpata. - Lunch with a beautiful view.
- Afterwards, we continue our camp in Choquequirao (2,850 masl). If tourists feel they have the energy, they can visit the archaeological site in the afternoon, where you can see the sunset and have the first explanation, after descending to the camp.
Day 3
CHOQUEQUIRAO
- 8:00 am Breakfast
- Visit to the Archaeological Complex of Choquequequirao with its beautiful sunrise in its integrity, and we can spend the morning with the respective route.
- 1:30 pm Lunch
- 3:00 pm We will explore every corner of the citadel, especially the flames and sunset sector in Choquequirao.
If the people of the group are with all the positive energy we will see the flight of the condor near the ceremonial Ushnu of the Archaeological Complex.
Day 4
CHOQUEQUIRAO - COCAMASANA
- 5:30 am Breakfast
- We begin our return trip along the same route to Maranpata. We descend to the Apurímac river, from where we make our ascent towards Chiquisca; there we can take a cold shower to rest from the heat.

- We continue our ascent until we reach our campsite in Cocamasana.
Day 5
COCAMASANA - CACHORA - ABANCAY AND / OR CUSCO
- 7:30 a.m. Breakfast
- We will continue with the slow ascent of about 3 hours until the viewpoint of Capuliyoc, where we can see again the beautiful geography and as also for the last time the Inca construction of Choquequirao in the distance.
We continue our walk in the direction of Cachora where we will have our last lunch and as well as the farewell of our support staff of the route with a small ceremony of farewell and thanks for the good food especially our cook and his assistants,
We will board our return bus to the city of Abancay, where we will take you to your hotels. - End of our services.

Notes
WHAT TO BRING IN THE TREK
- 1 small 25 liter brand backpack to carry your things you need for the walk (camera, drinks, etc.).
- Sleeping bag of -5 ° C (can be rented at our Agency).
- Small flashlight and spare batteries for the camp overnight
- 1 bottle of water (1 liter) or camel back
- Trekking shoes
- Short wind jacket
- 3 or 4 short-sleeved poles (preferably "dryfit" that do not retain water)
- 2 pairs of shorts like shorts.
- Socks: 4 pairs of wool and 4 of fiber for the walk (avoid the cotton, since they can retain the water)
