Itinerary
Day 1
CITY TOUR
- The city tour lasts approximately 4 hours, as a first visit you will have:
- QORICANCHA: also called Temple of the Sun, it was a place that in the past served as the headquarters for the ceremonies and studies of Astronomy and mathematics of the Inca people. Tour that covers architecture, history and art, where you can see a little more of the interesting Inca culture that was so rich and sufficient.
- SACSAYHUAMAN : the ruins of the fortress of Sacsayhuaman have Inca walls that some stones weigh more than 100 tons. The most important measures are 7 meters high and weigh 128 tons. The ancient city of Qosq'o was shaped like a puma, whose head was Sacsayhuaman.
- Q'ENQO : Kenqo was possibly used by the Incas as a center of worship, the passageways that resemble a labyrinth have on their flanks several channels in the form of "Amarus" (serpents) through which the blood of the animal sacrifices flowed, which for generally they were the most beautiful and unique, perhaps that was the reason why black animals were the chosen ones.
- PUCA PUCARA : Pukapukara is a Quechua word that means "red fortress" because the sunset changes the color of the rocks to red. Traditional information indicates that, when the Inca was about to visit the Baths of Tambomachay, the formidable procession of soldiers, dancers and others stayed in Pukapukara, which was a barracks and tambo (resting place).
- TAMBOMACHAY : Tradition knows this monument as "The Bath of the Ñusta" due to the existence of two aqueducts that carry crystal clear water all year round. It is an unmissable destination, where the Inca and his entourage came to relax, it is not far from the city of Cusco.
Day 3
MOUNTAIN OF COLORS
- The day begins with the pick-up from your respective hotel at approximately 04:30 a.m. where we will go to the south of Cusco exactly to Cusipata, where breakfast will be.
- After a short break we will continue on our bus to the control point of the place, where we will start the walk through beautiful landscapes for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (7km) until we reach the mountain of colors.
- The rainbow mountain is located at 5200m.snm, known as the mountain of 7 colors, red mountain, Vinicunca mountain, it is a magical place where its roads were part of the ancient Quechua culture, and it is used to exchange its products ( barter products), along with the other Quechua regions, has now become a natural wonder similar to the rainbow mountain of China.
- After a panoramic view, you will have enough time for rest and for photos, then we will return along the same path until we reach our bus and then return to Cusipata for lunch.
- And finally we will be in Cusco approximately 17:30.
Day 4
Humantay Lagoon Tour
- We start with the pick up from your hotel from 4:30 am to 5:00 am to direct you to the tourist bus that will take you to the town of Mollepata.
- Duration of the trip approximately 2 hours where we will have our delicious breakfast, then we will continue by bus for one more hour to Soraypampa.
- So now in this place we will not get ready for our walk. In general, it is approximately an hour and a half to the Humantay Lagoon.
- Then in the place we visit the Lagoon and explore the place and the view of the Humantay mountain in the company of our guide.
- Who will explain us about this magnificent place.
- After all, we will start the way back to Soraypampa to enjoy a delicious lunch and return to the city of Cusco.
Day 5
MACCHU PICCHU
- The Machupicchu Tour begins with the pick up from your hotel two hours before the departure of your train Schedule (according to Train Availability), we will go to Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station from where we will take the train to the Inca city of Macchu Picchu.
- For 1 hour and 40 minutes Approx. We will travel towards Machupicchu, upon arrival at the Machupicchu town station, our staff will be waiting for you to give you the necessary instructions to start the visit to the Archaeological Park of Machupicchu according to our entry time to the Inka Citadel City.
- One hour before entering Machupicchu, we will take the Consettur Bus that will transfer us for Approx. 45 minutes along the Hiram Bingham road to the control gate of the Citadel, where our guide will be waiting for you at the indicated time and start this fabulous experience.
- We will have the company of our guide for approx. 2 and a half hours where he will be explaining everything about the Inca City of Machupicchu.
- After finishing our Guided visit, we will have an hour to rest and then go out to the control gate and take the Consettur bus with return to the Town of Machupicchu. Once in the town we can take advantage to enjoy this beautiful small town decorated with statues of the 13 Incas and stone carvings and also enjoy a delicious lunch in the different restaurants in the town.
- 30 minutes before the Train Departure, we will approach the Machupicchu Pueblo train station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our Staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the city of Cusco (Plaza San Francisco). From here we can take the Mobility towards the Hotel (not included)
Day 6
MOVE FROM THE HOTEL TO AIRPORT
- Two hours before your flight schedule will be your respective transfer to the airport from your hotel
