2 Days Excursion to Machu Picchu from Cusco
Spend two days exploring Machu Picchu and the surroundings of Cusco. Travel through the Sacred Valley and take the train to Aguas Calientes, spending the night there to relax in the hot springs. All transportation from Cusco, guided tour of Machu Picchu, and 3-star hotel accommodation included.

Itinerary
Day 1
Start of the tour
- Start: Pick up from your hotels to go to the Ollantaytambo station and take the train to Machu Picchu.
- Then we travel to the Ollantyatmabo Station (approximate time of 1 hour and 30 minutes)
- Arrived at the Ollantaytambo Station, we will board the train to Machu Picchu (approx. travel time 1 hour and 30 minutes).
- Upon arrival you will have time to relax and enjoy the hot springs in Aguas Calientes.
- You will have a 3 star hotel.
- At night your guide will give you a talk to prepare you for the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
Day 2
TRIP FROM CUSCO TO AGUAS CALIENTES (Machu Picchu)
- Early in the morning you board the bus, which will take you to the Citadel of Machu Picchu (time approx. 20 minutes).
- Once you arrive at the Archaeological Center of Machu Picchu, the guide will give you a tour of approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
- We will know its Plaza, Intihuatana, Royal Rooms, Temple of the Three Windows, Cemeteries, its majestic succession of platforms that border the citadel.
- You will then have free time to explore further and take photos.
- At the end of the visit you can take the bus down to the City of Aguas Calientes.
- You will enjoy your lunch.
- According to the schedule of your return train, you will be half an hour before at the station to board your return train to the Ollantaytambo Station where your Bus will be waiting to take you to Cusco.
- The tour ends at your Hotel in Cusco.
