The Sicán Museum is dedicated to the culture that bears the same name, which after the collapse of the Moche culture flourished in Lambayeque. There are replicas of tombs, costumes and ornaments and funerary patterns of both the men of the town and the great rulers. In the Sala de Ajuares the famous mask of winged eyes, crowns, necklaces, ceramics, among others, are exhibited. The Pomac Forest contributes to the conservation of the most representative area of the equatorial dry forest ecoregion, in its typical carob plant formation, it also makes a perfect combination with the 36 pyramids of the pre-Inca Sicán culture that are found in the interior. of this forest, which is the habitat of a series of typical dry forest species, especially a diversity of birds, some of them endemic.
