Moquegua + Torata
Moquegua + Torata
Imagine a hill about 600 m high, but that does not end in a point, but on a completely flat top. Surprising isn't it? That is Cerro Baúl, one of the most beautiful mountains in Peru ... and it's in Moquegua!
Here, the landscape seems to have stopped in time. Its beautiful little houses with gabled roofs are as picturesque as the vegetation that surrounds them. From streams, rock formations, and deserts, its fertile valleys produce good fruit, and olives, pisco, wine, and shrimp abound.
