Itinerary
Day 1
Full Day Chancay
- 08:00 We will start our tour visiting the ecological farm Eco Truly Park, the Hare Krishna community of Induist philosophy in Peru, we will know about eco-friendly life and we will also visit its famous trulys -conical buildings-, then we visit the Plaza de Aucallama, located at 70 km from the city of Lima, where we can see La Glorieta and the Chapel of the town, Aucallama is a quite pleasant and quiet place to visit its square.
- Continuing with our tour we will visit the Chancay Castle, in this place we will take a tour of different environments, where we will find the Museum belonging to the Chancay culture, stuffed animals, ceramics among others.
- We will enjoy a magnificent live show as a fight between pirates where you can be one of the participants. We will have free time to enjoy the facilities and take photos.
- 13:30 We will start our route from Chancho al palo, where we will go to the Country restaurant el Rancho de Robertin or the restaurant Warmy de Pepe y Laura, here we can enjoy the best traditional dishes of the region.
- 15:00 We will visit Hacienda Huando, well known for its Huando oranges, we will find a colonial-style church and we will learn about the impressive history of this mysterious place.
- 16:30 Finally we will visit the María Paz farm, where we can harvest the mandarins and oranges that you want to take home. The farm offers two adventure activities: the zip line and the suspension bridge (which has a small additional cost).
- After having enjoyed the green areas, we will go to the Vinos María Paz winery, where we will do the tasting of wines, piscos, orange juice, etc.
- 17:30 Departure to Lima.
- 20:30 Arrival in Lima (approximately)
