Historic, Colonial and Modern Lima
We will start this tour with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, pre-Inca temple of S. IV DC, located in the district of Miraflores. Then we will go to the center of Lima where we will visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank, admiring the sample of ancient cultures of Peru, with a select exhibition of objects of gold, ceramics, textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures and the Gold Collection Cohen IMPORTANT: The Museum of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru is closed to the public on Mondays and Sundays. Later, we will enjoy a walk through the Plaza Mayor of Lima, observing the Cathedral, Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, among other colonial buildings. We will also discover the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco and its impressive Catacombs, one of the oldest and most famous cemeteries located in Lima, which consists of a network of tunnels and underground rooms. Finally, back to your hotel, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean.
