- We will pick you up directly from your hotel to start our journey to the south of Cusco through the beautiful landscapes of inter-Andean valleys and agricultural communities. First through our transportation, we will travel for approximately 2 hours to the city of Cusipata (3,329m / 12,772ft).
- After breakfast near the town of Cusipata we will move along a path among the mountains for one more hour, accompanied by our first views of Ausangate, the highest peak in Cusco. Along the way, we will pass by herds of hundreds of alpacas and llamas and the occasional shepherd or local people who move in their daily activities.

- Here we will stop to admire and appreciate the impressive views in all directions and the rare geological formations that seem painted with exotic colors by the hand of God. Far below and in the distance there are endless valleys and glaciers as far as you can see.
- We will stop for about 30 minutes, the perfect amount of time to rest, have a snack and immerse ourselves in this wild environment before starting our descent, approximately an hour and a half towards the point where we start the trek in Phuluwasipata, there our transportation will be waiting to take us to the restaurant in Chillihuani, where we will enjoy an energizing lunch. We will have time after lunch to visit some of the local homes and observe the lifestyle and customs that are still practiced since Inca times.
