Tour Alto Mayo - Moyobamba and Rioja in Tarapoto

The Alto Mayo valley or "The hidden side of paradise" is what we call the cities of Moyobamba and Rioja due to their exotic attractions, full of orchids, crystal clear waters, hot springs and sulphurous waters, the highest swamps in the world, caves and protected forest reserves.

In addition, Moyobamba is called the City of Orchids and Valley of the rich coffee. We will not be able to know everything in a single day, it takes us more time. It is recommended to spend the night in one of these cities to discover the hidden side of paradise.

Departure place
  • Starting point: We recommend as a meeting point Jr. Rioja 357 - Tarapoto - 2 blocks from the central square of the city.
  • Pick-up hotels : Pick up from downtown hotels in the city
  • Return point: The tour ends in the Plaza de Tarapoto or in a hotel that is within the route.
