Songos Slides and Huanano Waterfall
Have the most fun sliding down a natural stone slide and then descend next to a waterfall using the rappelling technique
Departure place
- We have boarding points in the districts of Los Olivos, San Miguel, San Isidro and Miraflores.
- Departures are every Saturday and Sunday.
- 4:50 AM Municipality of Los Olivos (Corner of Palmeras with Izaguirre) 10 minutes of tolerance.
- 5:20 AM Plaza San Miguel (Crossroads of Universitaria with La Marina). 10 minute tolerance.
- 5:50 AM Meeting at the crossing between Javier Prado and Arequipa (Banco de la Nación). 10 minute tolerance.
- 6:10 AM Saga Falabella stop (Jose Pardo crossing with Arequipa). 10 minute tolerance.
Itinerary
Day 1
Lima - San Jerónimo de Surco - Lima
- 8:30 AM Crossing Chosica, at km 61 of the central highway is the village of Linday, from here we will start the first adventure of the day.
- We will walk through a ravine and when it has narrowed we will use ropes during the journey, we will climb small waterfalls and some hills until we reach the natural songos slide where we will have a hilarious morning sliding over and over to fall into a small natural pool.
- One kilometer further on is the town of San Jerónimo de Surco, here we will have a restorative lunch before starting the 40-minute walk that will take us to the Huanano waterfall.
- We will cross farms and beautiful Andean landscapes. Once there you will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy its waters.
- With the more adventurous we will descend its 25 meters with the rappelling technique. We begin the descent to the town to address our mobility that will take us back to Lima.
- 5:00 PM We return home
- 8.00 PM Approximate arrival at the starting point of departure.
