Pisco Route Tour, Visit to Main Wineries (Private)
Live with us the famous “Ruta del Pisco” with our popular Winery Tour. We will visit the oldest Hacienda in South America, called "Hacienda Tacama", get to know the traditional wine growing "El Catador", taste its exquisite "Cachinas, Piscos and Vinos"; finally feast your eyes on the old and popular "Lazo Museum Winery", which is loaded with impressive relics and antiquities from Inca and Pre-Inca times.
Departure place
- Pick up at the hotel: Pick up in hotels only inside the Ica enclosure.
- Meeting point: If the hotel is too far away, the meeting point will be in the main square or in our office. Urb. Ciudadela Magisterial, Calle Las Palmeras Mz.O Lt.01 III Stage, Ica.

Itinerary
Day 1
Pisco Route Tour
Start time: 11:00 am
- Bodegas de Ica Tour: In this experience we will get to know the famous "Ruta del Pisco" visiting the most recognized wineries such as the Bodega Restaurant Turístico "El Catador"; which is an artisan winery where the tradition of making wine and pisco has been preserved over the years. During the months of March, this winery offers its grape treading show, recalling the traditional Iqueña Harvest.
- Continuing with the tour, we will proceed to visit the traditional "Lazo" Museum Winery. This winery was founded in 1809 by the Donayre Bolívar family, which has descendants of the Liberator Simón Bolívar. It should be noted that the winery has a rustic museum implemented, where you can see collectibles such as mummified trophy heads, ceramics, goldsmith work, remains of mantles from Pre-Hispanic cultures, and other pieces such as weapons of all kinds and of all period, also paintings, stuffed animals among other collectible artifacts.
- This winery is located in the hamlet of Camino de Reyes, district of San Juan Bautista.
- We finish the tour knowing the oldest winery in South America, today called Hacienda "Tacama" which uses fine foreign grapes to make its wines, piscos and sparkling wines. This winery was built for the first time in 1540, by the Spanish Francisco de Carabantes.
- Our passengers will be invited with tastings of the various products in each of the wineries, such as Pisco, Wine, Cachina, Sparklers, Pisco Creams, etc.
- Then we will return to the hotel or bus station in Ica to finish the Tour.
