Meet our "Wonder of the Modern World: Machu Picchu" on a spectacular train journey where you will travel through beautiful landscapes of our Inca valley, until you reach the citadel that will leave you breathless for its imposing architecture, landscape and mystical charm.
Departure place
- Cusco: Pick up from hotel, provided it is in the city center and prior coordination with the operator.
- For places outside these limits, you must coordinate with the Operator the feasibility of your pick-up or Meeting Point or additional Cost.
Itinerary
Day 1
Adventure to the lost city of the Incas
- Starts 4:00 AM
- We will pass by your hotel, to make the transfer to the train station located in the town of Ollantaytambo (1 hour 30 minutes of travel in mobility), where we will board our train and then make our trip to the town of Aguas Calientes (2,000 masl) which lasts 2 hours.
- Our guide will wait for you at the train station. With him you will go to the bus station to ascend for 30 minutes until you reach the incredible world wonder: "The Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu".
- Upon arrival, we will show the entrance ticket and start the 2-hour guided tour, where you will tour the circuit enabled for you .
- Then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (included) at the Machu Pisco restaurant.
- In the afternoon you will take the train back to Cusco (be there 30 minutes before the departure of your train).
- The return will be the same route as the outward journey, upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo, they will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
- 10:00 PM end of service approx.
