Itinerary
Day 1
LIME
8:50 PM Meeting at the Municipality of Los Olivos. 10 minute tolerance.
9:40 PM Meeting at the Hyundai store (Crossing Av. Arequipa with Javier Prado).
10:00 PM Departure to Laraos (Via Cañete).
Day 2
LARAOS (3560 masl)
5:00 AM Arrival and transfer to accommodation.
8:00 AM Breakfast.
9:00 AM We start the tour visiting the pumacocha lagoon and the cave paintings of Quillkaska. Then we will arrive at the deepest sinkhole in America (600 meters deep), and we will hike to the shutco canyon, where we will cross an Inca and viceregal road. Finally we visit the Yuncalara waterfall with its 20 meter drop.
2:00 PM Lunch. In the afternoon we will do a short city tour through the square, the church and the platforms of Laraos. At night we will have a bonfire with a share with the community relating legends and learning more about their customs. Overnight.
Day 3
LARAOS - LIMA
7:00 AM Breakfast
8:00 AM In the morning we will carry out coexistence activities with the Laraos community. Dressed in their typical costumes we will learn about their crafts, looms, agriculture, fish farming and gastronomy.
1:00 PM Lunch. In the afternoon, return trip to Lima, arriving at approximately 10 p.m. at the starting point.
