Itinerary
Day 1
Tour around the islands of Callao - Swim with sea lions
- We meet at 9.45am at Calle la Mar 229, Callao, in front of the Real Felipe Fortress (Nakary Restaurant) for port control, payments, lists, contingencies. Payment of protection fee to the natural reserve of Guaneras Islands
- Start of the Tour 10:30 am - Set sail for adventure
- Sail towards the islands of Callao. At the beginning we observe the anchorage of yachts, warships and merchant ships in the bay of Callao. During the journey we pass through the "El Camotal" shoal, open sea. We pass through the island of San Lorenzo, with rich stories that date back to pre-Columbian times. We see boats fishing, various colonies of guano birds and Humboldt penguins.
- 11:30 We go through the bay to the Palomino Islands, where we will see sea lions and birds of the area. I swim with sea lions . Time will be given (approx. 15 min, time stipulated by the Natural Area) to swim with the sea lions (optional).
- We reach the furthest point, Palomino Island, which is home to a large colony of sea lions (sea lions), where we can swim freely with wetsuits among them, thanks to the absence of predators. It is an unforgettable moment full of emotions.
- 12:35 Return to Boarding
- The return begins through cliffs and islets of impressive shapes. A snack is served before arriving at the jetty.
- The walk lasts 2 hours and a half approx.
- On our return we will pass through the camotal and skirt the La Punta spa.
- 13:00 pm - Arrival at the pier / End of the Tour.
