Full Day- Trekking Laguna Churup
Take an extreme hike through the Huascarán National Park!
- Enjoy a steep hike to reach the wonderful Churup Lagoon, one of the most beautiful and popular.

Departure place
- From Huaraz: Pick up at Hotel or coordinated meeting point.
- It is recommended to be 1 day before in Huaraz.
Itinerary
Day 1
Huaraz - Pitec - Churup Lagoon (4450 m) - Huaraz
- Duration: 2 hours (Round trip transportation) 5 hours round trip hike.
- Departure: 7:00 a.m.
- Pitec : With a private vehicle we head towards Pitec, the control point of the Huascarán National Park.
- Churup : Then ascend to the lagoon through a zigzag path, later we will have to climb a small rock wall; and after a brief stop, we will arrive at the Churup lagoon.
- After taking many photos and relaxing, we went down the same route for 2 hours to Pitec, where the transport is waiting to return to Huaraz.

Notes
- Duration of walk: 2 - 3 hours (3.5 km)
- Height 4,450 masl It is recommended to be 1 day before in Huaraz.
- Suggested ages: Minimum 8 years / Maximum 65 years. Everyone pays the same.
- For people outside the ages we recommend - Consult.
- Respect and follow the instructions of the park guard and guides.
- Do not be in danger, travel only on authorized trails.
- Do not collect plants or wild animals.
- Overnight only in shelters and authorized camps.
- Avoid throwing any type of garbage. Deposit them only in authorized places or take them outside of the Huascarán National Park.
- Do not go beyond the limits of marked trails, respect and do not damage the signs.
- Respect the customs of the local population, take photos when you receive their approval.
- Do not enter pets or exotic animals, it can harm the fauna of the Huascarán national park.
- Find out well before traveling to Huascarán National Park about what you can do and where you can go.
- With regard to National Parks and Reserved Areas, visitors can only enter always accompanied by an official guide.
