Coordinated time, pick up from the hotel. The tour will begin towards the Cayma district, one of the traditional neighborhoods of Arequipa, taking as a route the new girlfriend of "Chilina" that allows us to have a beautiful view of the city, its terraces and the Chili River. In Cayma, you will visit the Plaza Mayor and the Church, where the Dominican monks built a chapel in 1544 and today this Chapel is the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Candelaria. Finishing with this visit they will go to the Añashuayco area; place where the famous volcanic stone "Sillar" is extracted (Sillar is the white volcanic stone that is used in the construction of colonial buildings in the city of Arequipa). In the Añashuayco area, the guide will give you information about the origin and the geological formations of the quarries and you will have the opportunity to observe the hard work that this work takes. Later you will go to Yanahuara; the Main Square of Yanahuara, with a wonderful view of the city and its volcanoes and you will also explore some traditional streets. After Yanahuara, heading to the San Camilo market and after your visit, you will move to the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa where the guide will give you information about history and details of its infrastructure and important points about the Cathedral. The tour will end leaving you at the entrance of the Santa Catalina Monastery, here the guide will provide assistance to those who wish to visit the Monument. Upon request, the tour can also end in Main Square.
