Chanchas Bridge + Wariwillka Tour

The Chanchas Bridge, located south of Huancayo, has become an attraction for thousands of tourists. The iron structure has been, for more than 100 years, one of the routes of the famous “Macho Train”.
Departure place
  • Huancayo: Plaza Huamanmarca, in front of the Hotel Turismo. You can also be picked up from the hotel where you are staying, within the central area of Huancayo, in low season, with prior coordination and acceptance by the operator.
Itinerary
Day 1
Chanchas Bridge + Warivilca Tour

First Departure: 8:00 am. (Start) - 12:00 pm. (End).

Second Departure: 1:00 pm. (Start) - 5:00 pm. (End).

  • Departure from Huancayo.
  • Chanchas Bridge: It is located south of Huancayo and connects the districts of Huancán and Huayucachi. The iron structure has been on the Chanchas River, for more than 100 years, the route of the famous “Macho Train”.
  • Warivilca: The visit to the archaeological site and remains museum is from 9:00 am to 11:15 am and from 3:00 pm to 5:15 pm, every day except Tuesdays.
  • Fountain of fidelity.
  • Return to Huancayo.
