6 Day Magic Tour in Ayacucho

Itinerary
Day 1
Ayacucho City Tour
  • According to your arrival time: Transfer from the Airport to the Hotel.
  • Acclimatization morning.
  • Afternoon: City Tour Ayacucho.
  • 3:30 pm. The tour includes the visit of 1 Museum (Hipólito Unanue, de la Memoria or Juaquin Lopez Antay), Monastery of Santa Teresa de las Carmelitas Descalzas, Craft workshop Barrio de Santa Ana, Mirador de Cerro Acuchimay to see a panoramic view of the city , the Cathedral and some colonial mansions; Castilla y Zamora, Boza y Solís, Velarde Álvarez.
  • 7:00 pm. End of the Tour.
Day 2
Turquoise Water Millpu Tours
  • 7:30 am. Breakfast offered by the Hotel.
  • 8:00 am. Visit to the Turquoise Waters of Huancaraylla,
  • 11:40 am. Start of the tour. We will enter the walls of an impressive Canyon and we will advance one by one the beautiful natural pools of turquoise color. We will reach a series of waterfalls and crystal clear waterfalls surrounded by impressive rock formations.
  • Finally we will arrive at the small waterfalls of Millpu.
  • 2:45 pm. Country Lunch in Millpu. Fried trout
  • 4:00 pm. Return to Ayacucho
  • 7:30 pm. End of the Tour.
  • NOTE: THE TURQUOIS SEASON IS FROM MAY TO NOVEMBER, when it is not a season it can be changed for CANGALLO FALLS.

Day 3
Tours to Huanta and Pikimachay
  • 8:00 am. Continental breakfast in the hotel.
  • 9:30 am. Heading to the province of Huanta, approximately 30 minute walk to the Pikimachay cave (15,000 BC), Ayahuarcuna Colonial Bridge, an explanation of the history of the bridge, the natural viewpoint of green cross, the city of Huanta known as "La Bella Esmeralda de los Andes ”
  • We will visit the Plaza Mayor, the parent church of Huanta. Obispo de Piedra, the Beekeeping centers to taste Honey and its varieties, also Algarrobina and typical drinks based on net fruits of the region, coca liquor, lúcuma liquor with milk, lemon pudding, prickly pear liqueur and many more.
  • 5:00 pm. The tour ends.
Day 4
Tour to Vilcashuaman and Intihuatana
  • 7:00 am. Breakfast offered by the Hotel.
  • 8:00 am. Departure to our first stop, the Raymondi Puyas, then to the Intihuatana Archaeological Complex (Pumaccocha Lagoon, Inca Bath, Akllaywasi, Water of Eternal Youth).
  • Finally we will arrive at Vilcashuaman (Temple of the Sun and the Moon, Ushno, Plaza de Pachacutec, Cover of the Sun), which are archaeological sites of the Incas.
  • 4:30 pm. Return to Ayacucho.
  • 7:00 pm. End of the Tour.
Day 5
Tours to Colpa Hot Springs
  • 8:00 am Breakfast offered by the Hotel.
  • 9:30 am Visit to the Colpa Thermomedical Pools and the Waterfall. Enjoying a pleasant moment is just an hour from the city of Ayacucho, no less than in the community of Collpa, located in the Acosvinchos District.
  • Along the way we can appreciate the beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in the city, it is picturesque, with houses made of clay, ichu and tiles.
  • 10:30 am 15-minute walk to the falls and return time for a refreshing drink in the Colpa thermomedical pools
  • 3:00 pm End of the Tour.
Day 6
Tours to Wari and Quinoa Pampa (Check Out 12:00 pm)
  • 8:00 am Breakfast offered by the Hotel.
  • 9:30 am Visit to the Archaeological complex of Wari
  • Visit to the artisan workshops in the town of Quinua.
  • Finally, we go to the Historical Sanctuary of the Pampa de Ayacucho, where the battle of December 9 or Battle of Ayacucho for the independence of America was held.
  • 3:00 pm End of the Tour.
  • 3:30 pm Transfer to the Airport / Terminal Terrestre.
  • End of service.
