Our adventure begins early with the pick up from your hotel, we will go to Quesiuno, the starting point of the walk, before we will have a delicious breakfast. We will begin to walk through an impressive green valley and you will see in the distance the imposing snow-capped Ausangate. You will be able to observe the Andean rural communities and their daily life, it is something admirable.
We will continue walking until there will be Puka, we will have a short rest and then we will continue to Anantapata to have lunch. Once we are ready we will continue the adventure, we will ascend to the highest point of the day, the Abra Warmisaya, from here you will be able to see for the first time the fascinating Rainbow Mountain, then we will go to our camp to spend the night in the Surineqocha Lagoon, here Dinner will be waiting for us and then we will have a well-deserved rest.

The best thing to visit during the day: We will visit the Rainbow Mountain and the Red Valley with few visitors.
This day you will wake up at 4:00 am, enjoy breakfast before heading to the Rainbow Mountain, the advantage of getting up early is to arrive before the rest of the tourist groups so as to avoid the crowd. You will spend a good time contemplating the incredible environment of the place, capturing some photos and then heading to the Red Valley. You will be amazed by the views and the singularity of the landscape.
Finally it will be time to descend to the mountains and enjoy a delicious lunch, from that place our transport picks you up to return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.

- Bring a backpack to carry water, some snacks, camera, sunscreen, valuable things, jacket, raincoat, etc. We recommend bringing a 25 – 30 liter backpack, but if you like you can bring a daypack or any size backpack as long as you feel comfortable with it.
- Sleeping bag at least minus 5 cº. If you don't have one, you can rent one from us for US$20 for the entire trip.
- Trekking poles: recommended for people with knee or ankle problems or who are used to using trekking poles. If you don't have one, you can rent a pair of trekking poles from us for US$20.
